Конкурси мистецтв як складова частина програми олімпійських ігор сучасності

Abstract

Актуальність цієї роботи полягає в тому, що сьогодні більшість фахівців розглядають лише спортивну складову частину олімпійської програми. Організація культурно-освітніх подій у рамках Олімпійських ігор за-лишається малодослідженим науковим питанням. Завдання роботи полягає у висвітленні передумов уклю-чення, місця й ролі конкурсів мистецтв у програмі ігор Олімпіад. Результати роботи свідчать, що за іні-ціативи П. де Кубертена до програми ігор Олімпіад 1912 р. включено конкурс мистецтв, популярність якого з кожними іграми зростала, однак проблеми суддівства та вимоги до аматорства учасників призвели до виключення конкурсів мистецтв із програми Олімпійських ігор і перетворення їх на Олімпійські фестивалі. Протягом 1912–1948 рр. конкурси мистецтв були повноцінною складовою частиною програми ігор Олімпіад; кількість їхніх учасників у середньому становила 9 % від усіх учасників змагань. Митці змагались у п’яти номінаціях; 146 митців отримали олімпійські медалі різного ґатунку. Topicality. Today a lot of experts that researched of the Olympic program pay the attention only to a sport component of it. Unfortunately the cultural and educational activities during the Games remains a little studied scientific question. Objectives of the work are to highlight the role and place of the arts competitions in the program of the Games of the Olympics 1912–1948. Results. The program of the Games of the 1912 Olympics included the Art Competition. The popularity of Art Competition from Games to Games grew, but the problems of judging and the principle of amateur of participants led to the exclusion of Arts Competitions of the Olympic Games program. Conclusions. During the period of 1912–1948 the Art competitions were full component of the program of the Olympic Games; the 9 % of all participants of Games where the artists. They competed in five categories; 146 artists won Olympic medals.
