| Abstract: | У статті зʼясовано вибрані аспекти заснування просвітянського обʼєднання в м. Ковелі в 1920 р. Розглянуто Статут товариства «Ковельська ймення Лесі Українки Повітова ―Просвіта». На його основі виокремлено напрями роботи організації. Звернено увагу на фундаторів осередку. Долучено спогади І. Левчанівської про «Просвіту» м. Ковеля.The article deals with the selected aspects in the process of founding of the association in Kovel in 1920. It is considered the Charter of «Kovel district “Prosvita” named after Lesya Ukrainka». The analysis of the document singled out the areas of the organization’s activity - cultural, educational, charitable, heritage, promotional and others. Special attention is given to leading figures in the development of Kovel «Prosvita» - Samiylo Pidgirsky, Mykola Kosach and Olena Levchanivska. |
