Структура й семантика фразеологізмів з компонентом «голова» у німецькій і англійській мовах

Abstract

У статті здійснено спробу порівняти структуру та семантику німецьких і англійських фразеологічних одиниць із компонентом «голова». Актуальність дослідження визначається загальною спрямованістю сучасних лінгвістичних пошуків на комплексне вирішення проблем фразеологічної семантики. Завдан¬ня дослідження полягають у з’ясуванні ролі компонента «голова» у складі фразеологізмів німецької та англійської мов; порівнянні їхнього оцінного й емотивного потенціалу. Було виявлено деякі особливості та відмінності у світоcприйнятті, моральних нормах і культурних настановах двох споріднених народів, відображених в окремому фрагменті фразеологічних систем англійської та німецької мов.‫ The article presents an attempt of a comparative analysis of the structure and semantics of German and English phraseological units with the component «head». The topicality of our research is conditioned by the general orientation of modern linguistic studies towards finding a complex solution for the problem of phraseological semantics. The set objectives determined the results of the study, which were attained through determining the role of the component «head» in the composition of German vs. English phraseological units, comparing their structural and semantic features as well as their evaluative and emotional potential. The findings revealed some peculiarities and differences in the world-view, moral standards and cultural attitudes of the two related people in terms of a single fragment of the English vs. German phraseological system.
