Матричне моделювання семантичного простору багатозначної лексеми

Abstract

У статті запропоновано лінгвокогнітивну методику дослідження сигніфікативного потенціалу полісе¬манта, що полягає у моделюванні його семантичного простору у вигляді матриці доменів. Актуальність теми зумовлена урахуванням ролі мисленнєвих процесів людини у формуванні смислового змісту знака. Завданнями роботи є визначення методології, методики, інструментарію та послідовних етапів процедури формування лінгвокогнітивної моделі полісеманта. Новизна полягає у формулюванні когнітивних підстав створення семантичного поля лексеми в системному вигляді. Описано методологію дослідження когнітивних процесів у термінах залученості чи відстороненості стосовно опису явища, що номінується полісемантом, тобто науко¬вості: позанауковості картини світу; показано процедуру реконструкції матриці доменів, що є когнітивним підґрунтям семантичного простору англомовного полісеманта time; охарактеризовано склад матриці доменів, яка охоплює основні сфери людського досвіду у їх логічному взаємозв’язку. The article focuses on the linguistic cognitive method of the research of the signification potential of the polysemantic lexical unit, which is concluded in modeling its semantic space as a domain matrix. The topicality of the research is stipulated by considering the role of human cognition in forming the sense of the sign. The tasks of the article are the following: defining the methodology, methods, devices, and consequent construing stages of the linguistic cognitive model of a polysentic lexical unit. The innovative value of the research is in the formulation of the cognitive principles of systematic construing the semantic field of the lexeme. The article features the methodology of the cognitive processes research in terms of involvement in or distancing from the described phenomenon designated by the polysemantic lexeme, i.e. scientific :: non-scientific nature of the world image; presents the construing procedure of the domain matrix being the cognitive basis of the semantic space of the English lexeme time; the content of the domain matrix is considered, which inherently encompasses all basic human experiential spheres and their logical relations.
