І. Ющишин: основні засади нової, національної школи

Abstract

Стаття присвячена висвітленню поглядів галицького педагога ХХ століття І.Ющишина на школу, її роль у суспільстві та в житті дитини. Автор презентує аналіз педагогічної концепції педагога-практика,знавця теорії педагогіки щодо суті національної школи, її змісту, завдань та шляхів реформування на засадах гуманізму й демократизму. На основі аналізу тлумачень І.Ющишина змісту і завдань національної школи акцентується, що автор ключовим визначає навчання в українській школі рідною мовою, не зменшуючи ролі інших навчальних предметів. Підкреслюється аргументоване розуміння педагогом ролі середовища в житті, навчанні й вихованні учнів. Наголошується на визнанні ним провідної ролі принципу народності у розбудові школи на національних засадах, необхідності формування патріотизму у вихованців, унеможливленні формування шовінізму. The article is dedicated to the views of a well-known halician pedagogue of the XX century I. Youshchyshyn on school, its role in the society and child`s life. The author gives an analysis of pedagogical conception worked out by the great educator, the expert of pedagogical theory, its tasks and ways of reformation on the principles of humanism and democracy. On the basis of comments about the content and tasks of national school we can see that he considers teaching in the native language to be the main principle of national school. However he doesn`t lessen the role of other school subjects in the educational process. The author also stresses on his argumental understanding the role of surroundings in life, in teaching and bringing-up the rising, generation. I. Youshchyshyn considers that the leading role in creating school on national traditions belongs to the principles of nation and patriotism, avoiding shovinism in the educational process.
