Висловлення обурення як реакція на несправедливість

Abstract

У статті розглянуто семантичні особливості висловлень обурення в сучасній англійській мові. Актуальність дослідження визначається спрямованістю сучасних мовознавчих студій на поглиблене вивчення комунікативно-функціонального аспекту мови. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у виявленні понятійної основи досліджуваних висловлень. У результаті проведеного аналізу було обґрунтовано, що висловлення обурення, які ґрунтуються на опозитивних відношеннях, респонсивні за природою і репрезентують точку зору мовця, що суперечить репліці-стимулу. The article describes the semantic features of utterances of indignation in modern English. The topicality of the theme is explained by the general turn in contemporary linguistics which has stimulated detailed research in communicative and functional aspects of the language. The novelty of this work is determined by the identification of the conceptual basis for utterances of indignation. It has been proved that utterances of indignation which are based on oppositive relationship are responsive by nature. They represent the speaker’s point of view contradicting the one of the communicative partner. Utterances of indignation are peculiar to those who have a strong sense of justice or are fond of establishing the truth. Utterances of indignation are accompanied by aggressive behavior and manifestation of negative emotions. The investigated utterances are regarded as conflict-oriented. As a kind of verbal aggression they contradict principles of communication and lead to conflict.
