Англійська народна загадка: просодична організація, емоції, прагматика

Abstract

У статті на основі аудитивного аналізу автентичних текстів англійських народних загадок узагальнено специфіку їхнього просодичного оформлення, а також обґрунтовано інваріантну та варіантні інтонаційні моде¬лі організації їх структурно-фабульних елементів. За результатами оцінки емоційного і прагматичного потен¬ціалів озвученої загадки описано енергетичні особливості просодичного оформлення структурно-фабульних елементів тексту та їхніх стиків. Установлено зворотно-пропорційну залежність емоційного потенціалу загадки від обсягу її тексту та тенденцію зростання прагматичного потенціалу в напрямі до фінальної інтоногрупи загадки, а також специфіку її просодичного оформлення, яка полягає в інтенсифікації або контрастному виокремленні тих лексичних одиниць, що здійснюють вплив на підсвідомість реципієнта, стимулюючи його до пошуку образів, асоціацій та аналогій відгадки. In article on the basis of auditory analysis of English folk riddles the author describes the characteristics of their prosodic organization as well as substantiates invariant and differential prosodic features typical of the riddle structural elements. As a result of the evaluation of the spoken riddle emotional and pragmatic potentials, the author outlines its energetic specificity influencing the prosodic features’ functioning within the riddle structural elements and at their junctures. The carried out analysis also allowed the author to identify a reverse proportional correlation between the riddle emotional potential and the size of its text as well as the tendency of pragmatic potential increase towards the final syntagm of the riddle. The author makes a conclusion that the riddle prosodic organization aims at intensification and highlighting of those lexical units which realize a subliminal influence on the recipient’s subconscious providing the stimulus for the his/her search for images, associations and analogies of the riddle solution.
