Заснування культурних товариств як спосіб національного самовираження спільноти з польським корінням на Волині

Abstract

У статті висвітлено питання задоволення національних потреб волинської спільноти з польським корінням крізь діяльність культурних товариств. Виявлено передумови створення полонійних осередків у різних куточках Волині на початку 1990-х рр. та проаналізовано їхню діяльність у сьогоденні. Розкрито специфіку локальних проектів громади польського походження області.

This article is devoted to the issue of satisfying national needs of Volyn community with Polish roots through the activities of cultural associations. It deals with the background of formation of Polish centers in different parts of Volyn in the beginning of 1990s. The direct correlation between the revival of religious communities and the intensification of the national life of the Polish community is discovered. The Polish culture associations activities in the present are analyzed. The major areas of its functioning are: learning the Polish language, promotion of culture, preservation of traditions and customs, care of monuments of the past, strengthening the link with the historical homeland, maintaining Christian spirit in families. The specifics of local projects of community with Polish origin in the region is revealed. The examples of practical actions of the local Polish Diaspora in preserving national identity are also given in the article.
