Тематичне поле «місто» в німецькому міському романі

Abstract

У статті на матеріалі сучасного німецького міського роману здійснено спробу розробити тематичне поле «місто». Матеріалом для аналізу обрано роман «Die Berlinreise» («Подорож до Берліна») Г. Ортайля. Ґрунтуючися на загальній теорії поля, у статті розглянуто структуру тематичного поля «місто» на практичному аналізі тексту роману. In this article the main principles and functions of the field theory are considered along with the practical analysis of a thematic field “city” in the novel „Die Berlinreise“ (“Trip to Berlin”) by modern German writer H. Ortheil. Theoretic problem of the field structure still does not find any clear solution in the linguistics. The author takes a look at main approaches to the understanding of field in the linguistic theory, and analyzes thematic field, which is close to the field structure of a concept. Taking into consideration thematic peculiarities of the novel, specific features of literary time and space, and also age of the main character, the author of the article draws a conclusion that thematic field “city” is characterized by complex structure, absence of elements homogeneity that build center and peripheral meanings in the field, and also by anthropocentric character.
